Job Description:
Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a Commercial Contracts Counsel to lead the firm's third-party contract review process, overseeing contract workflow including drafting, editing, reviewing, and negotiating key contractual terms. The successful candidate will have expertise in software/SaaS agreements, purchase agreements, subscription agreements, professional services agreements, and NDAs. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of vendor and service provider contracts, leading the contract review process, developing and implementing contracting playbooks, templates, and workflows to support efficient and consistent contract review processes, and identifying potential compliance vulnerabilities and risk areas.
