Job Description:
Aldridge Pite, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have excellent written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills and be comfortable working with a high volume caseload.
The Associate Attorney will handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment, prepare and argue motions for summary judgment, manage assigned case load in manner that meets goals and client expectations, and handle escalated and time sensitive matters as needed.
Requirements include a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and admission to practice law in the state of California. Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code is a plus but not required.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, research skills, proficiency in software tools, ability to manage and prioritize large caseload, identify and resolve problems, and demonstrate good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change.
