Estate and Business Succession Planning Attorney

Job Description:

This is a client-facing role that involves working closely with family-owned businesses, executives, and entrepreneurs to design sophisticated, tax-efficient plans that preserve wealth across generations. Key Responsibilities include advising clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer (GST) tax strategies, developing comprehensive business succession plans for family-owned and closely held businesses, structuring and drafting estate planning documents, coordinating with financial advisors and other professionals, analyzing and planning for liquidity needs and tax liabilities, assisting with lifetime gifting strategies and charitable planning. Qualifications include a J.D. from an accredited law school, LL.M. in Taxation preferred, 5-10+ years of experience in estate planning, business succession planning, or a related field, familiarity with business entity structures, excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills, ability to build strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, proven ability to manage complex planning projects independently or as part of a team.
