Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our growing firm. As a General Practice Attorney, you will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic solutions. You will assist with estate planning, probate, and bankruptcy matters, and communicate effectively with clients to build trust and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs, analyzing the situation, then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
  • Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
  • Review and finalize probate and bankruptcy documents for filing.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on estate planning, probate, and bankruptcy matters.
  • Meeting with Clients and Prospective Clients throughout the day.
  • Collaborate with the team to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and quality client service.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should be great communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high
  • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
  • At least 1-2 years of working in a law firm on on estate planning and probate law issues is necessary
  • Working knowledge of title insurance, wills, trusts, property management, and residential and commercial real estate law, including litigation
  • Bachelor s degree with a legal background and J.D. degree are required
