Creditors Rights Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Creditors' Rights Attorney to join our Anchorage office. This position focuses on creditors' rights, collections, debt recovery, and bankruptcy matters.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients in connection with debtor insolvency, work-outs and loan modifications
• Represent clients in debt recovery and bankruptcy proceedings
• Prepare and file proofs of claim, writs of attachment, garnishments and related pleadings
• Handle motion practice and court appearances
• Negotiate settlements and guide clients through strategic resolution of claims

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Alaska Bar, or eligibility to waive in
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience (collections, creditor representation, or bankruptcy preferred)
