Workers' Compensation Attorney

Job Description:
We are seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will handle a mix of administrative and court-based work, including appearances before the Industrial Commission along with Court related proceedings. Key Responsibilities: Defend employers and insurers in workers' compensation matters Manage a full caseload from inception through resolution Appear at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and settlement documents Advise clients on claims strategy, exposure, and risk management Collaborate with partners and support staff to ensure efficient case handling. Qualifications: 1-3 years minimum prior experience in handling Ohio workers' compensation matters, preferably on the defense side Must have experience handling general discovery matters. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school Active license and in good standing with the Ohio Bar Strong litigation, negotiation, and legal writing skills Ability to manage deadlines and high-volume caseloads The firm offers a fully transparent compensation structure, full benefits, including paid holidays and vacation, health care insurance, 401k, and an excellent work environment
