Job Description:
Provide general counsel services to local governmental bodies. Key duties include counseling clients on contract review, handling ordinance prosecutions, responding to board inquiries, and providing legal guidance on purchasing processes. Requirements: Active Illinois bar license, Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, excellent legal writing and communication skills, experience in municipal or public sector law (desirable). Salary range $105,000-$150,000, with benefits including medical, vision, dental insurance, 401(k) match, and paid maternity/paternity leave.
