Commercial Real Estate Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Virginia Beach. As a key member of our Business Group, you will represent developers, lenders, landlords, and community associations, handling commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, purchase, financing, and leasing. You will also assist with community association formation, registration, governance, and compliance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use condominiums. Key responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, negotiating, and drafting agreements, deeds, loan documents, leases, declarations, and covenants, as well as managing others to ensure timely closings and meet milestones.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar membership in Virginia
• 6+ years of relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial real estate law, real estate, and related areas
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
