Commercial Real Estate Senior Attorney

Job Description:

Seeking a seasoned Commercial Real Estate Senior Attorney with extensive experience in negotiating and drafting commercial leases, property acquisition and sale documents, easements, and other related agreements. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business, strong leadership skills, and excellent communication and administrative abilities.

The role involves coordinating the development of transaction documents, diligence, and closing for portfolio transactions involving properties in multiple jurisdictions. Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina and have knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

Responsibilities include negotiating and drafting leases, property acquisition and sale documents, easements, and other related agreements; coordinating the development of transaction documents; conducting closings; and drafting correspondence on behalf of landlords.

The successful candidate will possess a portable book of business with at least $200,000 in collections, strong oral and written communication skills, knowledge of laws and rules, ability to organize factual and legal data into clear arguments, and initiative, mature judgment, and discretion. A Bachelor's degree and J.D. Degree are required.

Experience negotiating financing transactions is a plus. The candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask without sacrificing efficiency.
