Employment Attorney

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced employment attorney to focus on business litigation with an emphasis on employment, shareholder, and commercial disputes. Responsibilities include advising clients on labor, employment, and other internal management issues, drafting employment-related agreements, policies, and manuals, conducting audits and investigations, and conducting legal research and drafting research memoranda. Ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in employment litigation and/or counseling in a law firm setting, with an existing book of business, experience with cases involving litigated allegations against employees, officers, directors, and shareholders, ability to advise clients on labor, employment, and other internal management issues, self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, resourcefully moves projects forward, commitment to team-based approach, exceptional verbal communication skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. Requirements include Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, active license to practice law in Minnesota, experience in other states a plus, additional consideration for CPA, MBA, or similar professional experience.
