Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced attorney to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney, you will be responsible for:

* Meeting with clients and assessing their financial situations;

* Court appearances on behalf of the clients;

* Reviewing cases for accuracy and legal viability;

* Resolving issues for clients originated by the U.S. Trustee;

* Researching and drafting pleadings;

* Communicating with courts, trustees, opposing counsel, and other local law firms to represent the client well.

Qualifications:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to prioritize and multitask

* Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities with multiple clients

* Deadline-oriented

Previous bankruptcy experience and/or admission to the Eastern or Middle District of TN preferred, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
