Job Description:
Manatt Phelps & Phillips LLP seeks a Commercial Contracts Counsel to join its Legal and Risk Management team. The role will lead the firm's third-party contract review process, oversee contract workflow, draft and update policies and procedures, and facilitate vendor and service provider contract reviews. Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, analyzing business risks, developing contracting playbooks and workflows, identifying potential compliance vulnerabilities, and providing guidance to the Procurement team. The ideal candidate holds a JD degree, has 5+ years of experience in commercial contracts, and demonstrates expertise in software agreements, purchase agreements, and professional services agreements.
