Estate Planning Attorney

Job Description:
We seek an Estate and Succession Planning Attorney to provide comprehensive legal services to clients. Key responsibilities include drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives, as well as advising on estate, gift, GST tax, and income tax matters. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge in estate planning, estate and gift tax, and business succession planning, with excellent written and oral presentation skills. Requirements: - Knowledge in estate planning, estate and gift tax, and business succession planning - Excellent written and oral presentation skills - Ability to accurately summarize complex problems and proposed solutions - Organizational and project management skills - Proficient in online legal research services and other available legal resources - Sound and independent judgment - Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision - Ability to manage new and existing client relationships - Actively involved in business development. Preferred but not required: - Portable book of business - Significant experience in complex Estate Planning matters - Graduate of an accredited law school - Admitted to the Michigan State Bar, or eligible to promptly become admitted.
