At Jarvis Law, we seek an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct client design meetings to understand needs and develop estate plans. - Oversee case progress and document drafting, ensuring client files remain on track. - Provide compassionate, client-focused service, demonstrating excellent listening and rapport-building skills. - Assist clients in moving forward with their plans, including securing payments and deposits. - Ensure compliance with firm procedures and workflows. - Serve as a mentor and coach, working closely with a drafting paralegal. - Participate in potential client seminars and workshops as opportunities arise. Qualifications: - At least 2 years of estate planning experience. - Juris Doctor (JD) degree and an active Ohio law license in good standing. - ABA membership (preferred). - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Servant leadership mentality and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - High personal accountability and commitment to professional excellence. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and prior experience with case management systems. - Familiarity with WealthDocs and ElderCounsel (or willingness to learn). - Ability to train, mentor, and hold team members accountable. - Professional, positive demeanor with the ability to show tact, empathy, and diplomacy. - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
