Administrative Law Attorney

Job Description:

Join BBG, a top-tier real estate law firm with approximately 60 attorneys dedicated exclusively to real estate law. We are currently looking for a highly motivated and intelligent Administrative Law or Landlord/Tenant Attorney who is well-versed in rent regulation, landlord/tenant disputes, or other real estate administrative agency law matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Research and draft legal documents
• Perform Administrative due diligence
• Litigate Administrative Law cases before DHCR, the NYC Commission on Human Rights, NYS Division on Human Rights, OATH, and the Supreme Courts.
• Participate in marketing efforts
• Adhere to all of the Firm s policies and procedures.

We seek a candidate with:

• A high degree of academic achievement with a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school
• Active New York State Bar license and in good standing
• At least 3 to 5 years of real estate Administrative or Landlord/Tenant Law experience
• Deep knowledge of Rent Stabilization Law and Code
• Strong negotiating skills, excellent analytical and research skills.
