Litigation Attorney

Job Description:

We seek an Intermediate Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of litigation experience to join our growing firm in Corpus Christi, TX. The candidate must be licensed to practice in Texas, have graduated from an accredited law school, and be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Texas.

The ideal candidate must communicate effectively and possess excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills. They must be self-motivated with strong negotiating skills and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities include managing personal injury cases, filing lawsuits, conducting depositions, drafting discovery, preparing clients for depositions, mediations, motion hearings, and trials, evaluating claims by working with claims representatives, working in a team environment with paralegals and legal secretaries to propound written discovery requests and responses, order and summarize records, coordinate depositions, obtain experts and prepare for depositions and trials.
