International Estate Planning Attorney

Job Description:
We seek an experienced International Estate Planning Attorney with 5+ years of experience. Responsibilities include drafting U.S. estate plan documents for clients with foreign assets, administering estates of individuals with foreign assets, advising clients on U.S. reporting requirements and structuring investments in the U.S. Desired Qualifications: * Strong academic credentials with a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in good standing in the Connecticut or New York or Florida bars. * Advising U.S. clients on foreign asset structures, minimizing U.S. taxes and coordinating with foreign counsel. * Structuring estate plan documents to benefit foreign beneficiaries, tax and estate planning for married non-U.S. citizen spouses, renouncing U.S. citizenship, abandoning permanent residency, structuring ownership in foreign businesses, drafting U.S. estate plan documents, administering estates, advising clients on investments and transfers from foreign entities. * Strong analytical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required to succeed in this role.
