In-House Attorney

Job Description:

The In-House Attorney will manage initial client intake process for civil claims, review potential cases, interact with clients, and determine case acceptance. The role involves conducting intake calls, evaluating cases, documenting case details, analyzing preliminary legal research, leveraging referral networks, explaining legal options, maintaining records, collaborating with team members, following up on referred cases, and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements:

Licensed attorney in good standing with the SC bar association

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school

Natural communicator who enjoys building relationships and helping people

Detail-oriented and comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office and case management software like Litify or Salesforce

Ambitious, resilient self-starter with a passion for taking excellent care of clients and each other
