Junior Associate Disability Attorney

Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed full-time attorney to join our team. As a Junior Associate Attorney, you will represent clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges. You will also do other tasks as assigned, including answering client questions, reviewing and developing cases, conducting legal research, and writing pre-hearing briefs. Key responsibilities include: - Representing clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges (50-70% of time) - Doing other tasks as assigned, such as answering client questions, reviewing and developing cases, conducting legal research, and writing pre-hearing briefs. Requirements: - Attorney License - Reliability and Dependability - Eagerness to Learn and Make a Difference - Strong Communication Skills, Both Oral and Written - Excellent Legal Writing Skills - Ability to Travel to and from Hearings in Other Cities and States Up to 70% of the Time - Residence in One of the Above Listed States (TX, FL, or GA) - Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law is Preferred but Not Required Minimum Requirements for a Remote Attorney Home Office: - Fast Internet Connection (20MB+) - Wired Ethernet Cable Internet Connection in Your Home Office - Land Line Telephone or Good Cell Phone Signal in Home Office - Quiet Home Office with No Distractions During Business Hours The Firm Provides the Following to our Attorneys Working from Home: - Laptop Computer, Additional Monitor, Printer, and Headphones - Remote Internet Wi-Fi Access (For Use During Business Travel) - Monthly Cell Phone Stipend
