Structured Finance Of Counsel

Job Description:
DLA Piper is seeking an of counsel or senior associate to join its finance group, structured finance subgroup to focus on commercial mortgage-backed securities transactions. Candidate with experience in commercial mortgage-backed securities preferred but not required. JD and certifications in the applicable jurisdiction required. 5-9 years of structured finance, securitization, and/or CLO experience preferred. Strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills, ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrated oral and written communication skills, research and problem-solving skills, conceptual thinking, ability to influence others, persuasive communication, management skills required. Essential job expectations include effectively communicating with clients, lawyers, and third parties, producing deliverables, answering phone calls, and replying to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner, providing timely, accurate, and quality work product, successfully meeting deadlines, fostering positive work relationships, complying with firm policies and practices, engaging in both physical and sedentary activity, working under pressure, performing all other duties as assigned.
