Job Description:
DLA Piper is seeking a finance of counsel to work in its Project & Energy Finance group, with a focus on the financing of energy transition and data center projects. The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of experience in project finance or other financings relating to the energy transition or digital infrastructure. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation, coordinating complex closings, and providing timely, accurate, and quality work product. Strong analytical and writing skills, attention to detail, good business judgment, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively and independently are required. The candidate should also be able to communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties, produce deliverables in an efficient and responsive manner, and meet deadlines and perform work duties as required.
