Job Description:
Seeking Tax Controversy Associate with 4-7 years of experience representing taxpayers before IRS and state agencies. The ideal candidate should have efficient legal research, draft document preparation, project management, and strong written communication skills. Prior experience in U.S. Tax Court, District Courts, or the Court of Federal Claims is a plus. A LL.M. in Taxation and bar admission are required. This hybrid role can be located in any Akerman office with preference to Atlanta, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, New York, or West Palm Beach offices.
