Job Description:

DLA Piper is actively seeking an associate with 3+ years of experience for our Employment Group. We are looking for candidates with experience for an employment counseling position that will support cross-border and global employment work. International counseling experience is strongly preferred, and position will interact frequently with other offices in DLA s global employment practice.

The associate will be responsible for conducting employment diligence and advising on employment aspects of corporate transactions; advising on employment policies and practices; drafting and negotiating employment, retention and related agreements; advising on reductions in force and other employee terminations; drafting restrictive covenants and counseling on employee mobility.

Flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential. We seek candidates with immediately transferable skills and a strong academic background from a nationally recognized law school. We offer competitive salaries and benefits.

We will consider candidates interested in any U.S. DLA Piper office, with a preference for San Francisco, Palo Alto, Chicago, New York, and Austin offices.
