Job Description:
Orrick is seeking a lateral associate with strong background in patent appeals and intellectual property. The ideal candidate will be intellectually curious about and experienced in handling complex technical subject matter across the high-tech and life-sciences industries. Responsibilities include drafting appellate briefs, conducting legal research, assisting in developing appellate strategy, and advising clients on appellate procedure. Key qualifications include J.D., admission to at least one state bar, 2-7 years of experience in appellate litigation, and strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
