Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Landlord/Tenant Litigation Attorney with experience handling disputes in Housing Court and Supreme Court, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation matters.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully representing sophisticated clients, exceptional legal research and writing skills, and the ability to draft persuasive motion and appellate-level submissions. Trial and appellate experience is a strong plus, and candidates should have an interest in participating in marketing initiatives and developing long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

  • Research and draft legal documents
  • Handle complex commercial and residential real estate litigation
  • Represent landlords, developers, managing agents, investors, and condominium boards in Housing Court and Supreme Court
  • Attend court appearances, depositions, argue motions, and conduct trials
  • Participate in marketing activities, including drafting articles and publications

Requirements include:

  • High degree of academic achievement with a law degree from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Active New York State Bar license in good standing
  • 2-5 years of Landlord/Tenant litigation experience
  • Experience in Housing Court and Supreme Court is required
  • Appellate exposure or experience strongly preferred
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and negotiation skills
  • Portable book of business is a plus but not required
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to tackle all assigned tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and pride in delivering quality work
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
