Real Estate Attorney

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Greenville, SC or Columbia, SC. As a member of our full-service law firm, you will represent developers and other clients in complex commercial real estate and financing transactions.

You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating purchase contracts, leases, and financing documents, as well as advising clients on land use and zoning issues. You will also supervise paralegal and legal assistant staff and advise senior attorneys on real estate matters.

Requirements include:

• Experience representing developers or other clients in complex commercial real estate and financing transactions
• Strong academic background
• Licensed in or willing to become licensed in South Carolina
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Professional demeanor and a team player with high degree of confidentiality
• Desire for involvement in and the betterment of our community and the legal profession
