Technology Commerce Associate/Of Counsel

Job Description:

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking a Technology Commerce Associate or Of Counsel to join the Minneapolis, Palo Alto, Salt Lake City, Dallas, or Seattle office. The attorney will work on intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, financings, and other multidisciplinary transactions.

This attorney will also work on structuring, drafting, and negotiating a variety of intellectual property and commercial transactions, including license, service, development, distribution, and partnering agreements. The ideal candidate should possess excellent writing skills, curiosity, strong teamwork skills, and an eye for detail.

Required qualifications include:

- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials

- At least six years of relevant law firm or in-house attorney experience handling a variety of licensing and technology transaction matters

- Minnesota, California, Utah, Texas, or Washington bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Minnesota, California, Utah, Texas, or Washington

- Strong communication and writing skills

Salary range for this position is $295,000 - $315,000+. The firm offers a collaborative and dynamic environment with competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
