Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated attorney looking to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both advising clients on day-to-day labor and employment matters as well as representing them in complex litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Employee/Plaintiff Representation:

Represent employees in disputes related to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, retaliation, and other workplace issues.

Counsel clients on their legal rights, develop case strategies, and manage all phases of litigation, including drafting complaints, conducting discovery, and handling pre-trial motions.

Advocate for clients in hearings, trials, and mediations, ensuring effective representation in court and before administrative agencies.

·  Employer Defense and Counsel:

Defend current employer clients in employment-related claims such as wrongful termination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and discrimination.

Advise employers on legal compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, and Title VII.

Review workplace policies, employee handbooks, and guidelines to mitigate risks and enhance organizational compliance.

Provide strategic guidance on internal investigations, terminations, performance management, and dispute resolution.

·  Strategic Counsel and Risk Mitigation:

Offer proactive legal counsel to employers to help them avoid litigation, including advising on personnel decisions, employee discipline, and compliance with labor regulations.

Assist employers in navigating complex labor and employment challenges, balancing the needs of the business while ensuring legal and ethical compliance.

·  Litigation Management:

Manage cases from initial intake through resolution, including trial preparation, discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations.

Prepare and argue motions, and represent clients at hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.

Work collaboratively with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
