Appellate Attorney

Job Description:
We seek a skilled Appellate Attorney with strong research and writing abilities, demonstrated experience handling appeals, and a passion for crafting persuasive legal arguments. The ideal candidate will handle appellate work in state and federal courts, primarily in insurance defense litigation, and contribute to trial-level motions and other aspects of our defense practice. Responsibilities include drafting appellate briefs, conducting comprehensive legal research, presenting oral arguments, partnering with trial attorneys, and contributing to trial-level work. Requirements include a Juris Doctor degree, admission to the Louisiana State Bar, 5-10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation, strong analytical, research, and writing skills, exceptional advocacy skills, and high professionalism.
