Job Description:
DLA Piper is seeking a corporate or litigation associate to join our corporate practice, with 3-6 years' experience advising clients on corporate insurance matters. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and building relationships with clients and colleagues. Key Requirements: * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong research and analytical skills * Ability to work collaboratively and independently * Conceptual thinking and persuasive communication skills * Management skills Desired Skills: * JD from an accredited law school * Admitted to practice in the state where they will be officing * 3-6 years of experience in a related field * Direct and applicable AmLaw 100 firm experience Essential Job Expectations: * Effectively communicate with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties * Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence in an efficient and responsive manner * Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product * Meet deadlines and perform work duties as required * Foster positive work relationships * Comply with firm policies and practices
