Job Description:

This role seeks a junior to mid-level associate with 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience in a computational biology practice and a Ph.D. in a computational biology or life sciences discipline. The ideal candidate will advise biotech, pharmaceutical, and digital health clients on intellectual property and transactional matters relating to data-driven innovations.

We are looking for an expert who can translate complex scientific concepts into strategic legal guidance for patent preparation, prosecution, and portfolio management. Patent bar membership is required, and applicants must possess excellent academic credentials, strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to understand their intellectual property needs and develop strategies to protect their innovations. They will also conduct patent searches, prepare patent applications, and negotiate licensing agreements.

We offer a competitive salary range of $235,000 to $310,000, depending on location, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off benefits.
