Bankruptcy & Restructuring Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate to join our growing practice with a national footprint. Our attorneys practice in all areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law, with a focus on sophisticated corporate reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and insolvency counseling, and related litigation.

Responsibilities include:

Working collaboratively as part of a team to provide legal services to clients

Providing expertise in bankruptcy and insolvency law

Conducting research and writing high-quality documents

Representing clients in court and negotiating with creditors

The role requires:

Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required

Superior academic credentials and excellent research and writing skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Admission to the New York bar (in addition to NJ and/or DE) is preferred but not required

The salary range for this role is $165,000 to $180,000, reflecting various factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors.
