Innovation Attorney

Job Description:

Orrick is seeking an experienced and innovative attorney to join our Strategic Advisory & Government Enforcement (SAGE) team. The successful candidate will support the Firm's innovation efforts, focusing on people, process, and technology, specifically within our SAGE business unit.

The role reports to the Managing Director of Practice Innovation and collaborates with all members and leadership of the SAGE business unit. Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting projects to streamline and improve client service delivery
• Leading initiatives to integrate technology, including generative AI, into the practice of law
• Developing and promoting legal solutions that leverage AI and other legal technologies
• Collaborating with administrators, lawyers, paralegals, and staff on efficiency and innovation initiatives

We are seeking a motivated and innovative attorney with excellent analytical, project management, prioritization, and organization skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in best practices, technology, knowledge management, practice and project management, and legal technology, including opportunities to leverage AI and generative AI in legal services.
